No luck she left my ass in the dust, just as I thought. Damn that girl moves fast, we started from MaryAnn's Ice Shop to Stbg H.S Stadium, this is half of the 13.1 miles that I plan to do on my 40th Birthday...May 17th, (I hope to see lots of supporters).
Ok so we set off on our run and 10 minutes into the run I couldn't see her anymore, however my friend Attikis saw me as I was passing Big Wheel, he felt my pain and offered me a ride...owwwww. Ofcourse I declined, but by the time I made it half way up Wallace Street I really wish I had taken him up on his offer. I prevailed and completed 7.5 miles. I caught up with Leslie just as she was heading into the HS parking lot, she was walking at this point cuz she hurt her knee. Her knee is better now but she has to slow down on the running so she doesn't injure it further...
